This is honestly one of the best CDs I have bought in a good while. I don't generally buy scores, this being my second, but I love the way a score can be more ambient than an actual band. I do recommend people check it out, you'd be surprised how good it actual is. The Village may not have gotten exceptional reviews, but this wonderful work, by composer James Newton Howard (ER, Sixth Sense, Collateral) has and it shows he really knows his stuff. Listen To Clips
Wow! I might just have to get this! By the way, was there a soundtrack for Signs? I love the main theme, I just cant seem to find it anywhere to download.
Yep. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...=music&n=507846 His work in 'Signs' was quite good, manipulating the melody to suit different moods in the film, however, it's much darker, and I enjoy 'The Village's emotion. I also bought this Cd in part b/c it's impossible to find on the net, as I'm guessing is Signs. People just don't buy em like they used to. "Move children, vamanos!"
