The Undying Oath Despair in a ray of sunshine A day dons on the promise made long ago Dreams always floated in the wind, but now nightmares intertwine In the sands of the sea our innumerous heresies veiled But the seas have become sand and hope is dry and folly found Disorder in a drop of rain The ending from a higher being shown forth Lightning in a breath gives light to the slain Praying to nameless stars for saving grace But the stars pray to the Name and hide their face Demise in a blast of thunder A quake-ridden earth, filled with bodies, will know only sorrow Grimacing faces peer upon the carnage and shudder A chosen savor is cried to for life everlasting But this savor is crying, for death has come knocking
