The Tragically Hip is a Canadian alternative band that made some incredible music in the 90s. The music is catchy, intelligent, and you can hear 70s rock and blues influences in a lot of their songs.

'New Orleans is Sinking' was voted #8 in the top rock songs of all time by a local radio station. Other amazing tracks are 'Little Bones', 'Poets', 'Ahead By A Century', 'Bobcaygeon', 'My Music at Work', and 'Silver Jets'.

Check them out, if you like music that is not as distorted but is chalked full of great riffs, solos and choruses.
