For me, there was one song that impacted me the most. One song that changed my life forever. One song that totally made me the person I am today. One song that changed my attitude towards others and helped me get over my problems. One song that proved that LP are indeed make beautiful songs.

    Burning in the Skies

I lost my father 2 months after the release of ATS. And I feel that I cannot describe better how I feel about his death with words. It's like every fucking line of BITS is written about me and him.

Valentine's Day and Shadow of the Day. 2007 was a really rough year for me and those songs were so so helpful. MTM isn't exactly my favorite LP album but it might be the one that I hold closest to my heart. Burning in the Skies and Waiting For the End also had an impact on me. Oh, and Iridescent!

I'm not sure why, but I've always felt a special connection to Lying From You. That song gets me every time.

What I've Done, What We Don't Know, Numb and Burn It Down have all impacted me lyrically, the first two I wrote being more so.

I feel the same way, NoN

Anyway, the song that has impacted me the most is probably Nobody's Listening. Kinda similar to No One's There by Korn, I feel as if these lyrics explain how I feel sometimes.

    Try to give you warning
    But everyone ignores me
(Told you everything loud and clear)
    But nobody's listening
    Call to you so clearly
But you don't want to hear me
(Told you everything loud and clear)
    But nobody's listening

Dang, I've always loved OSC just because but you have a reason and a story, and it was a sad one. I'm glad that it came a long and helped you

Seriously, that would be Numb. I literally sang Numb in my Literature class in college and my classmates were singing along. Today, that would be Iridescent.

    Most lyrically impacted blablabla...
It's definitely Burning In The Skies.

    Breaking The Habit, for me.

That was the first Linkin Park song I ever heard, and it impacted my live massively.

You know that magical feeling of when a song overpowers you emotionally...? That was the feeling. The only other songs that spread over me in such an emotional way have been 'Hero of War' by Rise Against and 'Your Hand In Mine' by Explosions In The Sky.

Without that song, I wouldn't have bought Meteora, and then the full LP back catalogue and tickets and merch.

LP are still my favourite band, and opened the door for me to listen to other bands.

This song changed my life forever, and I thank them for that.

I can't repay them for that.

Bleed It Out. I was angry that the woman of my dreams had a boyfriend and he was a douche.
I was flirting with her until I met him.

to her: Fuck this hurts, I won't lie
Doesn't matter how hard I try

Half the words don't mean a thing
And I know that I wont be satisfied

    So why try ignoring him

To him: I've opened up these scars
    I'll make you face this

    I've pulled myself so far
I'll make you, face, this, now!!!!
