    Holy Metallica! They shattered my Linkin Park :( 113m to 58m. But Metallica has been on for like 30+ years, LP like 15. And albums doesn't sell much anymore...

    It's natural! Every artist of the 80s or 90s has sold more than one of the 00s, and every artist of the 00s has sold more than one of the 10s.
    Is the -> Download.

    If Linkin Park were a band of the 80s (or 90s), now they would have sold as Metallica or more. Or... if Metallica were a band of the 00s, probably now they would not have sold not even than 20m.

    Metallica may sold more copies than LP, but The Eagles is the best selling American band of all time.
