(And another band from jacksonville 'The Sophomore Attempt' (just 'cause I've met the bass player):

    Red Jumpsuit Apparatus sounds amazing!

Sophomore Attempt sounds good too but some how they sound a bit forced to me... after hearing Red Jumpsuit Apparatus anyway.

I absolutely love The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. I downloaded their cd a few weeks ago and I'm hooked on it. My favorite songs are "In Fate's Hands", "Justify" and "Grim Goodbye". Their single "Face Down" is really good as well, but I prefer those three songs over it. Their "Don't You Fake It" cd came out today and I decided to buy it. I felt that it's so good that I actually wanted to own it rather than listen to the burned copy that I had originally. Great band, great lyrics, great music. <3

Edit: The songs on their myspace doesn't do them any justice.

Eh, I don't know, it sounds like every other type of pop-punk type of band in the vein of Taking Back Sunday that MTV likes to play every 45 minutes. Nothing really stands out about these guys, except for their name..

I just finally got the CD downloaded and have yet to listen to it (stupid power outage) but some of the songs I have heard kicks ass.

Why, because they know everything about music? I say check them out and form your own opinion.

Meh, I'm little miss defensive right now, heh.

I did, and didn't really enjoy it. They're a little on that cliche type band's. Which is n't bad, but it just dosn't work for them.

And it seems that I've heard they're basic sound from other bands (like Classic Crime who I don't enjoy either).

    Its alright.

But no, its because my tastes are more in common with them than others so I'll go with their opinion. But you do have a point, so I will check them out.

edit: I did, and yes they sound like Simple Plan, Good Charlotte and that type of stuff which isn't really my thing but to each his own :)

In my opinion they don't sound like Simple Plan or Good Charlotte at all.

They sound kind of simular to Taking Back Sunday, which isn't a bad thing if you ask me.

Woah, they sound no where near Simple Plan or Good Charlotte. I donno where you get that idea from. ??? I guess you're just stereotyping bands that get played on MTV, huh?

Well anyway, I've only heard the songs they have up on Purevolume. And I've been lovin' Face Down ever since they first played the video on tv. And although I've only heard 4 songs by them I don't think they sound that much like TBS. I donno maybe the voclas a little but RJA are a bit harder.
