How many people of heard of this band? I think they are amazing how they blend post-hardcore and experimental music so well almost like Thrice. If you haven't heard of them before I'd suggest you go to their myspace (www.myspace.com/thereceivingendofsirens) and listen to songs like "Planning A Prison Break" or their new song "Smoke and Mirrors".

true I thought their new album would suffer without Casey but it doesn't sound like it has too much

I think they're awesome. Their first album is an interesting lesson, and their upcoming work sounds like its going to be just as good. Saw them live with Saosin last month and they were awesome as well.

They're alright. That smoke and mirrors song kinda bores me but the CD isn't bad. In terms of this style music though, I prefer Thrice (Vheissu), Circa Survive, and Mutemath.
