My perfect band would have: the heavy, melodic riffs of Funeral for a Friend, the awesome singing/screaming voice of Chester, the drumming of Slipknot, the guitars of Finch, the depth of Radiohead, P.O.D. and the beautiful lyrics of AFI, A Perfect Circle and Tool. What's yours?
Throw 30 Seconds To Mars, Godsmack, Evanescence, Linkin Park, Mudvayne, Taproot, and TRUSTcompany in a pot, and you've got the perfect band.
I agree with the first two bits: The drumming of..Disturbed Guitars of Audioslave Beautiful lyrics of The Beautiful Mistake and any other EMO band
Britney Spears' screaming/singing, heavy guitar riffs like O-Town, cool dram beats like Nelly Furtado, and cool bass lines like Justin Timberlake.
The perfect band would have the vocal stylings mix of Maynard of Tool and Russ Allen of Symphony X with a bit of Serj Tankian of SOAD. The guitarist would be John Petrucci of Dream Theater laying down crazy solos and crushing riffs. The bassist would be a mix of Tony Levin (Ex-King Crimson, LTE) and Flea (Red Hot CP) The Drummer would be a mix of Martin Lopez's (Opeth) precision, Mike Portnoy's (Dream Theater) energy and Danny Carey's (Tool) innovative beats. And I'll have a KEYBOARDIST (woohoo!) that is a cross between Kevin Moore's (Dream Theater, Chroma Key) great melodies and Jordan Rudess's (Dream Theater, Dixie Dregs) virtuosity.
Mmmm....that's some tasty soup. My Band Vocals: Chester (LP) and Scott Anderson (Finger Eleven) or Sonny (P.O.D) Guitar: James Black (Finger Eleven) and Jason Truby (P.O.D) Bass: Sean Anderson (Finger Eleven) and Fieldy (Korn). Drums: Rich Beddoe (Finger Eleven) and Tommy (Godsmack/Lo-Pro). You can see all the Finger Eleven people. I think they're the most talented band instrument-wise out there nowadays that I've heard.
Hell yeah! Sounds like one kickass band.... now, only if we could get a keytar in there, and it would be perfect... ahh, the 80's and their supercool instruments...

Yeah F11 is very talented. They guitarists are pretty good, and the drummer I would say is above average, but the Bassist absolutely rocks and I love Scott's voice!!!!
Vocals Mike Shinoda Linkin Park and Pierre Bouvier Simple Plan Guitar Barry Stock Three Days Grace Bass Paul Thomas Good Charlotte Drums Dave Papa Roach Now I know this might be wierd, but I just think combining Punk and Rock memebers would be a good combo what do you think of this kinda of band?
Wow. Simple Plan's vocals are freaking terrible. And Lars Ulrich doesn't play for Papa Roach. [/b][/quote] Oops...well you don't have to get mad at the papa roach thing, it ws a honest mistake and the thing about Simple Plan is you may not like them, but I do...

I didn't say I don't like them. I said I don't like the vocals. They're whiny and poppy. And I wasn't mad about the Lars playing for Papa Roach thing. I was informing you he doesn't play for Papa Roach.
