anyone? can't be that no one on these boards ever heard of them?
i mean, seriously, this band is one of the freshest things i've heard for a long time. saw them two days ago as support for "dredg" and witnessed one of the greatest performances i've ever attended with an open mouth. this band is too much for the mainstream fans, but exactly the right thing for fans of pure rock.
i was so blown away, that i decided to take a 2 hour drive the next day to see them again. even though "dredg" were amazing, "the parlor mouth" was my highlight. really intense live shows as you can witness by clicking the link below.

when i heard this song i was shocked and really happy at the same time. i know i might sound over the top, but i can't recall a performance that impressed me that much. please take yourself these 7 minutes, lean back, turn the volume up and enjoy!

I must say I'm impressed. Reminds me of The Racontuers' second album. Digging it. Nice find.

that's what wiki had to say:

"The band are heralded for their live performances. A recent review from Toronto said, "the show was a face-melting, Fender-shredding rock out that went a long way in clearing up why some have dubbed this a 'must-see' live band;" also stating that "nobody who watches them perform live will fail to be entertained.""

wow, sorry for posting here again.
but honestly, has no one (besides "disturbedthoughts") checked the links? i always thought this place was full of people with vast musical tastes and a good amount of knowledge about whats rather "good" and "bad". with this band, i was sure to provide something special to the boards aside from the typical "muse"/"NIN" hype.
every live video i check, i feel the energy that i just witnessed two and three days ago. it's so god damn intense.

is it because i dont have a colored user name, no avatar und no sig, so that everyone thinks im just a little noob not worth listening to? haha

in fact, this is the only board i posted this band on because i actually thought i could find many people who feel the same way as i do but it seems almost no one FEELS at least SOMETHING by listenung to my recommended songs. what a shame :(.

maybe you will stumble across one of those great reviews that are out there and recall this thread. until then, my picture of LPA's taste is shocked :D.

holy, im ranting about this band so much... excuse me ;). just so freaked out!

In all honesty you really shouldn't be surprised. Look at the Fair to Midland thread that popped up a while ago. Almost no one posted in it.
