    Apparentley.

I can't believe we're getting iTunes 6 already. You'd think they would just call the video capable version 5.1.

I guess making it a 6 makes it sound better.

Yeah. I guess. This just in:

Cool. I was hoping for Family Guy, South Park, Simpsons, ect, but maybe they'll be added in the future.

This could mean that torrent files of tvshows/movies will be encoded in H.264.

H.264 isnt widley supported and files are too big for distribution. I'd be suprised if the movie downloads on iTunes are H.264. I think it requires a G5 to play them, and considering how the G4 processor is still widley used in Macs, I don't see Apple using a format a good chunk of their customers couldnt even watch.

    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Page says iTunes 5 but 6 downloads. I suggest getting it NOW before the server gets hammered. Right now, I'm pulling it down at 300 kb/sec. When iTunes 5 came out and I waited a bit to download, it took me over an hour to download on a college high speed connection.

    iTunes 6 Windows

Yeah, it would be nice if they at least give torrents a try for their server troubles.

Isn't it G5 required to play larger h.264 movies that were encoded in 1080p?
