that's the thing, nu-metal's roots are definitely metal, but the music itself...no.

I dont like mushroomheads old stuff because of the old singer, but I like the new guy a lot. I agree that SOAD's old stuff is way better though.

Has anybody mentioned All That Remains? They are one of my favorite bands right now. If you like As I Lay Dying, Trivium, Killswitch Engage, definitely check them out. The Deepest Gray, Six, This Calling, Focus Shall Not Fail, This Darkened Heart are all awesome songs. Then again, they are all awesome.

I think it's an aquired thing, it took me three years to not mind his voice becuase of constantly hearing it when I was with my friend Tim. Then I became a big fan, it faded and I stopped listening to them but now I'm back to doing it haha.

I fucking love Cradle. Not too fond of their latest labum Thornography but Nymphetamine has got to be one of the best albums of the 21st century so far for me.

I'm not that keen on Cradle. In my opinion they only gained recognition because of the 'Jesus is a c*nt' shirts and the lull between britpop and indie.

I love cradle just because of the Midian album, that is what got me into them.

Scortched Earth Erotica is my favorite song of all time from them, as for thorography.... Cradle and ville valo should never have been together so I've lost alot of respect for dani.
