Well emos and indies might be shopping there just as much, but recently they're changing the stuff to cater to them more than the (mall)goths and metalheads.

Black Metal, eh? Emperor, Enslaved, Darkthrone, Mayhem, Rotting Christ, and Satyricon are my current favorites.

 

Ecliptica is still the best album by SA, Unia is good but not great

I got the human abstract's autographs! On my shirt, and CD and I was front row at there concert! it was fun

 

yeah i've heard it and i think its pretty good. (i can't believe it leaked so early) 2 songs i really like are 'maria' and 'an undesired reunion'. it is definitely a step up from their last album.

 

Were they headlining? Because they've always been opening when I see adds for their shows.

City is a great album, it comes highly recomended by me.

 

That album can actually cause testicular pain in the correct sound system, if I remember correctly.

 

I like the new Nile album.

 

...somehow...I completely forgot about Nile. >.<



old Morbid Angel is really starting to grow on me, making me realize how much I'm disliking Steve Tucker more and more every day.

 

So, what's everyone thinking about the new Devildriver album?

I think they've gotten even better.

 

They're at their peak right now...I think it's cause of Mike Spreitzer. Evan Pitts turned them into Nu-Metal, Spreitzer comes in and then they're awesome.

The ending of The Axe Shall Fall is really cool.

 

Yeah. Nu-metal Devildriver really annoyed me. Also, I think the lyrics are a lot better, too. Some of the lyrics on their self-titled were just... stupid.

Haha, yeah, liked the end to the Axe Shall Fall, too.

So far my favorite songs off of it are Head On To Heartache and Horn of Betrayal.

My favourite songs are The Axe, Bound By The Moon, Burning Sermon and Not All Who Wander Are Lost.

speaking of, have you seen the Not All Who Wander vid? Jeff Kendrick can't headbang and Dez can't get decent body motions down pat.

Yeah, Die and Die Now was the song I was thinking of when I wrote that. To bad though, seeing as I really like the music to that song.

Hmm, I haven't seen the video yet, but I've never really seen a Devildriver vid I liked so I haven't bothered looking it up yet.
