Since the new season has been on TV for a couple of weeks now I'm sure there are at least some people who watch it every week and enjoy it.

So I decided to make a discussion thread like we have for other shows.

Now, what do you guys think of this season so far? Who's your favourite character? Which parts did you esspecially like?
It's all part of this thread.

Even if you haven't seen much of this season and you'd like to express your views on the show in general you're obviously welcome to post here.

    Be warned for spoilers!

One thing I wouldn't like to see in this thread is an endless discussion about how the UK version is better than the US version and the other way around. This is a thread about the US version so try to keep it like that.

How about a compromise: the UK version with Steve Carrell replacing Ricky Gervais as an actor? :p

 Dean, seriously... I like the UK version as it is, it wouldn't be as good without Rickey Gervais.

I think Ricky Gervais is a good writer but I've never liked his acting myself. Steve Carrell on the other hand...

Well, if this gets this thread going ok... but I really like Ricky Gervais I think he fits perfectly in the role he plays.

And of course, Steve Carrell does that too.

I should probably find a stream of the new series, or something along those lines.

I watch it and love it! The Office is one of my favorite shows.

I think Steve Carrell is hilarious, although in this season they tend to make him a little more stupid, haha, but it's okay. "I...DECLARE...BANKRUPTCY!" THAT was funny though.

I'm also pleased that Jim and Pam are together, 'cause, I mean, well, duh.

The Office is just one of those shows that you can just watch and not really expect what's coming next. Anywho, yeah. :p

    Exactly.

I thought the last episode was really hilarious too with the Branch Wars. Although they cut out a lot of really funny scenes like where you actually get to see Dwight and Micheal stuck underneath the copymachine.

    They're all deleted scenes.

Haha, the mustaches were hilarious. Also when they were yelling to Jim over the walkie and he's in the front seat and he sees Karen, he's like telling the camera guy to get down, HAHA! I was very amused by that. But man, I felt bad for Jim 'cause Karen totally attacked him, haha.

But why would they cut out a scene like Michael and Dwight getting squished by the copy machine? Damn.

 Uhu, my favourite part too. Jim's my favourite character because he's so normal and has to cope with all those weirdos.

And yeah, I think you can find it on Youtube, though. It's really funny.

Oh and Dwight's quote with the eyes: "The eyes are the groin of the face" that cracked me up too.

 Yeah, I think Jim may be my favorite character as well. He makes good faces, too. Although, I DO like Andy a lot, kind of annoying but wicked funny.

And w00t, I have DVR, so I can just go back and watch it again if I want to. :D

 YES! I forgot about that! HAHAHA that was hilarious!! Dwight IS really funny.

(Haha, I like my three "lol-faces" straight down in a row. :D)

 Yesss, his faces are really great.

Andy trying to get in the Finer Things Club was brilliant too, Toby got all depressed. Toby reminds me of Droopy. :p

(three lol faces might be a little much, but not when you're talking about The Office...)

The Finer Things Club, hahaha. And yeah, Toby always looks so...depressed or something. Kind of amusing. I like how they ended the show this week, with Pam inviting Jim to the FTC and Andy says something along the lines of: "Are you KIDDING me?!" HAHA!

I love the office, though im finding this season isnt as funny so far. It's still great, but it seems to be focused less on the jokes and more on the characters relashionships.

By the way, did anyone else thinks that Jim and Pam's prank when they pretended to be the website was hillarious?

That prank was hilarious, indeed. Jim's pranks are all brilliant, my favourite one is the one with the phone.
