We all have those bands, singers, and artists that we listened to when we were kids that are the polar opposites of what we listen to now. Post what was in your CD player in '98, and if you still enjoy it or not! Dig? Dig. The more "embarasing", the better!

    This Day Forward
    Lifetime
    Atreyu (lolwut)
    Stretch Arm Strong
A Trunk Full of Dead Bodies
    Story of the Year
    The Used
    Anatomy of a Ghost
    My Chemical Romance
    Linkin Park

Most of these bands I still listen to, such as This Day Forward (one of the best out of the Philly area), Anatomy of a Ghost, and Lifetime.

    Post 'em up.

I'm not embarrassed by any of the music I listen to but I'd name off artists like the Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync and LFO.

Nsync, Lou Bega, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Van Halen, The New Pornographers, Tonic, Backstreet Boys, and Britney Spears.

Im not really embarrassed by any of it. I've always listened to a lot of different music. Lou Bega's CD was actually the first album I can remember liking every single song off of.

I couldn't really think of a better word than embarasing. It's more or less stuff you grew out of / don't listen to anymore but loved in the past.

Well, in the late 90's/early 2000's I mostly listened to hip-hop and a few alternative rock/metal stuff. Stuff like...

    Wu-Tang Clan
    KoRn
    Limp Bizkit
    DMX
    Foo Fighters
    The Smashing Pumpkins
    Nas
    The Fugees
    Alice In Chains
    Three Six Mafia
    The Geto Boys
    A Tribe Called Quest
    Sublime
    The Beastie Boys
    The Prodigy

Some of this I still like, though.

    N'Sync,
    Mariah Carey,
    Celine Dion,
Lauren Hill ( that..'I need youu babyy bla bla' song)
    Boys 2 Men,

I never actually looked into these artists myself, but I used to listen to them all the time because my aunt would play them everyday, and I'd be sitting around playing gameboy all day long.

Ah yes, how could I forget? LINKIN PARK.

Embarrassing? I don't see what's so embarrassing about what kind of music you listen to.

    BSB
    Bush
    Silverchair
    Utada Hikaru
    Nirvana
    Foo Fighters
    2Pac
    Biggie
    Snoop Dogg
    Master P
    The Mortal Kombat Soundtrack

I was more of a rock oriented kid growing up. I didn't really venture out until my later (I would presume) middle school days.

Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of knowing who Linkin Park was in '98.

Haha, I wasn't saying the music you listened to was embarasing. I just couldn't think of a better word. And don't limit it to '98 guys! As long as it's music you listened to in the past, it's fair game.
