Wow. This looks absolutely terrible. Honestly, I had a small bit of hope for this film yet that was blown to pieces when I saw how absolutely cheesey the CGing was.

This movie could go both ways, and I guess I'm the only one who understands the ugly CGI? Has anyone watched the old school Speed Racer series?

 

Yeah, I used to watch it all the time. That doesn't justify how shitty everything blends together. Not to mention what looks like terrible acting.

 

Man I don't care what anyone says I want to see this movie lol.

 

I think that they deliberately made it somewhat cheesy. Personally, I think that the movie looks pretty faithful to the anime from what I've seen. However, I can understand how the purists would have a fit over this.
