I really don't know what everyone's so excited about with this new record. It's not all that great. To me it feels like a step down from A Flash Flood of Colour.
no, it's just different. if you can't see the big step up in both instrumentation, songwriting and rou's vocal range from FFOC to this, i honestly don't know what to say. sure FFOC kicks-ass, as do their other albums (shikari are my favourite band for christs sake), but i gotta say the mindsweep is by far their asbolute best album, just not my favourite. (that would be common dreads) i've literally been listening to it non-stop since it started streaming, and i'm still not bored of it. it's just fucking amazing, shikari matter so much in the uk music scene rn its unreal
