Many videos from Linkin Park's performance at the Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands have surfaced online on YouTube. Of these, one of the more visible and better quality videos of the band playing The Little Things Give You Away has become available. There is indeed visual confirmation of Phoenix singing "the little things give you away" during the acapella breakdown towards the end of the song, marking the first song a bandmember other than Mike or Chester has sang back-up vocals during a live performance. you can't really tell (i can't, anyway.) all i've gathered is that his orange goatee-thing in front of a mike. <_<
I'm interested to see how this sounds live when it's professionally recorded. It sounds pretty cool as it is, despite the mediocre quality. And that's cool that Dave is singing. Always good to see new things being done at these new performances.
I was in the live in Paris Wednesday, it was an awesome show. There was a standing ovation of the 18 000 people from the start to the end. Incredible performance from LP, they've played 18 or 19 songs, including the little things give you away, leave out all the rest and a version of Points of authority with a new drumbeat. Yes I confirm Phoenix sang on TLGYA, at the end of the song. While chester is screaming "woooooooohooooohooooo" and mike is singing the chorus, Phoenix says the words "the little things give you awaaaay". Brad did a perfect solo, I was just in front of him !
Argh! I hate you!!! I feel really stupid as I havn't even seen them live yet. These concerts keep looking better and better. I'm curious about Points of Authority too, I wonder if anyone Youtube'd it?
I haven't seen them live either Argh! Unfortunatley, I'm at school so I can't view the video yet...stupid blocks on the school computers...*headdesk*
agreed....yes and i have never seen them live considering they usually never come to Omaha, NE/Lincoln, NE that much anymore. they used to quite frequently but now they don't:angry:. i just wish they would come soon because whenever they (finnaly) come i am always, i mean always out of town. i guess that is what i get for living with a family who likes Omaha....
hey, Im glad you like the vid I posted. I was quite surprised to find it here. My appologies for the crappy quality, next time I'll try to stand still^^ btw, does anyone know if there are any videos of hands held high live performances to be found?
