I haven't stopped listening to this album since I discovered it a couple days ago. It's amazing and I wasn't the biggest fan of the in-your-face hard rock style in THP. This album as a whole was a more enjoyable experience for me than the original, but that's just me. My absolute favorites: All For Nothing (zwieR.Z.) -albeit not an original riff, but it flows so well. The first verse by Mike right off the bat is the perfect fist pumping head rocking kind of style. Works great to hype me up in the gym A Line In The Sand (DirtyBlup) -I love the tiny addition of a line from "Little Things You Give Away" in there Mark The Graves (Xefuzion) -My absolute favorite, love everything about it, the buildup is perfect and the song from 5:00 and onwards is pure bliss. Others that also stood out: Drawbar (Lizzi Cloverman) -Definitely enjoy listening to this, very chill yet impactful at the same time Until It's Gone (Simple Automation) -Love the electronic twist the song brings War (RostaSliwka) -Far superior than the original for me, very catchy tune in the back and even with such a different sound it still works with the lyrics really well.
Just found out about this yesterday when it showed up as a recommended video on YouTube. I just finished listening to it and WOW! This is incredible! Both this and Reliving Things are as good as 'official' remix albums, if not better. I'd love to see a remix album for ATS released sometime in the future, that'd be awesome! EDIT: Meant to add, the artwork fits the music perfectly. I have never heard music like this before and the art just works so well with it.
I think MKH would enjoy doing "Burning in the Skies" or featuring on "When They Come for Me" with Cypher. What do you think, MKH? MKH agrees.
