If you're definitely going to only pick one package to download, I would definitely recommend the FLACs. You can convert those files to MP3s or any other format that you'd like later on.
I have no idea how to use FLACs so I just downloaded the MP3s instead. Why do the FLAC lead me to Facebook though?
Blame Derek. I've now rectified that issue - thank-you for pointing it out! FLACs are now available for free download in the news post! Alternatively, you could just click here to get straight to them.
After listening to the album multiple times during the week, gonna give some thoughts on some of the tracks. First of all, Drawbar is a definite highlight of the album, with its eerie and haunting sound which gives me the chills almost every time. War is far superior to the original, making listening to the original almost obsolete for me. I really can't tell whether I like DirtyBlup's remix or the original A Line In The Sand better, which is saying something since A Line In The Sand was my second favorite song off of The Hunting Party. And the ambient atmosphere of Final Masquerade really brings out the emotion in Chester's vocals, and kinda makes me wish Linkin Park made a more laid back, ambient album like the Final Masquerade remix. And my god, Rebellion somehow is so much more gritty than the original, which is fucking awesome. And there's not much to say about Mark The Graves. I was kinda disappointed when I didn't see Xefuzion's remix of Keys To The Kingdom was not on Viscera, but holy shit Mark The Graves is just as good. And I love how the album all ties together as Mark The Graves ends with a slower tempo version of the theme found in Drawbar. A really fantastic album, guys. We really do have a bunch of talented artists on here, and there are much more who didn't get included on the album. But props to everyone who helped put the album together. It was totally worth all the time and hard work.
I copied and pasted straight from your FB convo. So I believe the blame lies on you or Facebook. Take your pick
I just downloaded and listened to the full remix album today! I am very impressed by what I heard! In my opinion, THIS is how you "reinterpret" music, by using elements both familiar and new while connecting to the vibe or feel of the original music. Needless to say, this remix collaborative did a lot more justice for THP than Recharged ever did for LT. Thank you to all who were involved! I hope that the contributors will continue making awesome and unique music.
Which again is what I copied and pasted from . So how or why Facebook converted it to a FB link is beyond me. Doesn't really matter though
Hey, this is cool. Gonna listen soon. I just recently completed the audio production for my own complete "Living Things" mashup album. I only lack some cover art and an album title. I really wish I could find somebody who's good with photoshop to help with the artwork. Would anyone here be interested or know anyone who would be interested in helping with that?
It feels like the solo in zwieR.Z's All For Nothing remix cuts short just as it's getting into a groove. Other than that, one of my favourites from the album.
Hey, if any of the artists on this Wonderful remix album has an Instagram, would you mind listing them?
