(ok...first off I know this should really be in the news forum...but I'm a poor waif that can't post in there....so if this gets moved-delete as necassary ) Somewhere I belong has been given a mark of KKK from Kerrang magazine...here's the full reveiw: "Those rock "fans"" merrily ringing nu-metal's death knell (A self-defeating objective if there was one) will have to wait a while longer. The first single to be lifted from Linkin Park's forthcoming "Meteora" album, this polished sweell of radio rock won't be hailed a classic by anyone, but it will maintain LP's momentum with the certainty of DNA fingerprinting. Similarly paced to "Crawling" there's the familiar soft/hard vocal interplay, sudden wall of guitar and slick chorus led by the undeniably talented Chester Bennington. In truth, it'll be disappointing if this turns out to be the best thing on "Meteora" but for now Warner bros should consider appetites appropiately wetted... Also in K! mag, LP was given KKKK for their live performance in Nottingham's Rock city. If I'm asked to type the article...I will...but it's a big on the "big and somewhat pointless" side
Kerrang! always give LP bad reviews, stupid asses. they gave HT 2 K's, i think. it sold 17 million copies. shows what they know.
Yah I mean everyone has their own opinion and it is impossible to think that everyone will like LP. Too bad for them though that they don't like LP, they are the one missing out!
I think Kerrang has to leave room for other songs and albums to get there. They are critics, they have to criticize. They can't just go and say every album and every song is great. Yea, us fans think it's great. But that's just it, we're fans. Music reviews have to be analyzed very in depth and they have to criticize the album.
