I'll watch the interviews after I listen to the live show but before I do that, could someone tell me what the setlist is? haha
I really hope they do the idea of a deluxe album with some of the old songs re-released. That's be great.
Haven't had time to watch the interviews but I think I heard something about them recording some old songs that were on their first cd?
I don't get it. Is the album cover a potrayal of some person that cut their wrist and is holding it up to light or something so they can be seen, kind of like," i cut my wrist cause i wanna die and i hold it out so someone can help me"? hey, i have no idea!
(http://www.junodownload.com/products/1698294-02.htm ) It's not the 22nd yet, but this looks legit. :"
Cheers mate, I just bought the album 11 days before the official release. BTW, as well as an EP version of American Trash, there's also an EP edit of And Together. Nothing too big in terms of difference but more layered synth sounds. It sounds amazing in high quality!
It's a dance album, but it's unlike any dance music I've ever heard. I'm half way through the album at the mo, I'll try to write a review when I'm finished listening. The only disappointment so far is the EP edit of American Trash. EDIT: The EP is fairly amazing. It's also longer than alot of full-length albums I've heard. I'll post a review later. You guys will love 'Out Of Touch' though.
I did! Not Getting Better and Squid are sweet too, especially the latter! Can't say the same for the rest of the songs though. I like how they used to mix it up... but they went too dancy with this one.
I seriously can't get enough of Not Getting Any Better. I'm a big fan of house and dance music and I honestly thought they couldn't pull it off, but it has turned out awesome.
If you don't mind telling, what is the name of the leak? I tried torrent but it had asked for a password and I said "screw that" Edit: Never mind I think that I've found it.
Don't really like it. I liked IPS for how well they fused electro with rock elements but I'm not a big fan of House music, so this doesn't sound too good to me.
Yeah, Kris was all "you might even call it a mini-album since it's over 35 minutes" ;D Some progressive house shit there, I guess. You might've found a real copy, I don't know. No-one that I know of has found a legitimate copy that way. I think what they do now, which is their unique brand of electro, comes as a natural progression from what they were doing on the debut album. I know a fair few people who only like the rock-and-electro aspect of Innerparty's sound, and I'm certainly still a fan of "Don't Stop" and "This Town Your Grave", but, yeah, I can understand if the band might feel that it's a little clichéd or something. Personally, I like Innerparty mostly for the crisp-as-hell programming and production, and they've obviously come far in that department, as the EP should prove. I wasn't a huge electro fan before I got into Innerparty but I got into it pretty fast. ;D
