Derek- what track would you say is your favorite from the 6 new tracks you've heard? Thanks.

Final Masquerade sounds sick, considering MTM is my favorite album.

So Mike sings and raps on ALITS, and Chester also sings and screams? Sounds like a fucking rollercoaster of a song.

Concerning Mark the Graves, TLTGYA is my favorite Linkin Park song and No Roads Left is up there as well.

I am as tremendously excited for this song like a camel on hump day!

All I ask is that people please don't take the fact that FM is single material as a reason to bash the song, because it's damn good. By single material I'm saying it has my 'vote' as the next single. Not that it's watered down.

Which song do you feel had the strongest lyrics, Derek? And are the lyrics on this album better than usual overall, or would you say they're par for the course?

This review bothers me. Glowing reviews were also given to UIG and Wastelands in the initial 6 track sampler review and those songs came across as sub par (at best) to me. Every single track is basically given a standing ovation here. Maybe this album isn't going to be my cup of tea.

Yeah I guess you're right, this cycle has been pretty damn fast to be honest, faster than the LT cycle a least.

Man it's so odd they can write shitty lyrics like this:
"“I’m my own casualty; I’ve fucked up everything I say, fighting in futility”."
    " “no I’m not your soldier, I ain’t taking any orders, I’m a five-star general infantry controller…”"
" “Rebellion! Rebellion! One by one we fall apart!”"

And then turn around and write something like this:
" "No trace of what remains, no stones to mark the graves, only memories we thought we could deny""
"The light on the horizon was brighter yesterday, the shadows floating over, the skies began to fade, you said it was forever, but then it slipped away, standing at the end of the final masquerade"."

Would have preferred a better lyrics consistency AND the latter standard to be maintained.
From the three tracks we've heard so far this seems to be anything but a natural progression of a creative journey of ATS. Having said that some of the descriptions you gave sound like there mighht indeed be some amazing tracks. So I'm thinking it could a LT like situation, half the albums was typical Linkin Park whereas the other half was amazing experimentation.
