According to a listing put up on Warner Music Switzerland's online catalogue, "The Hunting Party" will clock in at 45 minutes and 12 seconds in length, making it Linkin Park's second-longest studio album released to date (A Thousand Suns, 47:49). Additionally, the listing also reveals track lengths for the entire album: Keys To The Kingdom - 3:38 All For Nothing (feat. Paige Hamilton) - 3:33 Guilty All The Same (feat. Rakim) - 5:55 The Summoning - 1:00 War - 2:11 Wastelands - 3:15 Until It's Gone - 3:53 Rebellion (feat. Daron Malakian) - 3:44 Mark The Graves - 5:05 Drawbar (feat. Tom Morello) - 2:46 Final Masquerade - 3:37 A Line In The Sand - 6:35* * Fun fact: At 6 minutes and 35 seconds, A Line In The Sand becomes the longest song included on a Linkin Park studio album. It should be noted that this listing corroborates the song lengths for select tracks from our earlier news post on iTunes pre-orders. Excited about a specific song? Disappointed? First! As long as it's not an interlude every other song, I am A-OK (how do you write that?) with this.
A Line In The Sand was my favorite title, so I think it's pretty cool that it's already a unique LP song in its length. I just hope it delivers. I'm surprised at the lengths of The Summoning and War. Seems odd to put two, seemingly instrumentals, back-to-back, no?
No way! I hope it's a song.... Maybe Drawbar & Final Masquerade is considered one but because it's long just like Tinfoil/Powerless, they're going to separate the track.. (Just a guess)
I try not to remember my days as Linkin Park's gravedigger. I come in out of the hot sun to get an ice cold Pepsi and all I get from Chester is "Mark, the graves." Dick.
I don't think Tinfoil/Powerless is "too long". Not even like 6 minutes. I think they just needed 12 tracks.
47:49 ? Not bad. I can't complain because I honestly expected another short record like Living Things. ATS had a bunch of interludes and it's my favorite album from them so I won't get into that particular debate. Kind of bummed there's a 1 minute song but you never know, it might be a shredding guitar solo or something and I might love it. I just hope A Line In The Sand is awesome because I have loved every longer song that LP has released.
I don't think the band having scarcity in producing their music... They also divided their demos by Batch A & Batch B.. I don't think they'd come up short of demos in making for THP..There might be a reason why they separate the tracks.
Not bad, if you exclude the interludes from ATS this would kind of make it the longest LP record. Not bad, a little disappointed by some of the track lengths, specifically War and Drawbar, but I'll wait to see how they turn out before judging. Also, it seems a bit odd to get the track length this early, but the earlier the better I suppose.
Awesome! Pretty happy with how long this record is. I can't wait to hear it! ALITS sounds like it will be an epic outro song to the record, unless it turns out to be "The Little Things Give You Away" pt. 2 Less than 37 days!
Pretty satisfied with the length of the album. 45 minutes is perfect. I wasn't initially hyped for A Line in the Sand, but after seeing the length of the song, now I am.
Please, NO... TLTGYA is TLTGYA.... I hope you're referring to the length of the song, not to the sound itself... TLTGYA is a unique song..
