Fo' real, It seems to me it's just a bunch of he said she said ish, I won't totally dismiss the article but come on "I saw my buddies that works at blah blah blah, and he told me....." Just seems a little fishy to me, I've been told B.S. stories that start with "Oh my cousin knows blah and he told me that......" What makes this guy so special....
Psh. All The Game has to do is demand a release from his contract under the conditions that they're trying to squander his chance of working and making a living, which any respectable judge in the country would grant, even if you only have a crappy lawyer arguing your case. And I don't exactly think The Game would have a hard time finding a label that wants him. Heck, he could go independent and still make a ton of money. I'm not a rap fan (or a Game or 50 fan), but it's simple economics.
I think Iovine is making a huge mistake. There's big money to be made in The Game, but I guess making 50 Cent happy is the bigger issue here. You know, lumping all G-Unit releases with 50 Cent albums and saying they've sold 50 million is unfair. The Game's album has only been out for a few months or something. I just don't think it's fair to do that.
Yea its not fair at all, and Iovine is a business man, he should know its not fair to compare sales between the two. The Game is a new rapper, 50 Cent has been rapping for a while now. And I might be wrong, but I dont think 50 would leave Interscope just because of the pride he has, if he left it would show weakness on his part and ruin his reputation. I mean that might sound off, but its a possibility.
The Game's fanbase is continuing to grow bigger and bigger while G-Unit's fanbase continues to grow smaller and smaller. I hope Em or Dre step up and say something.
Exactly what he said. The Documentary is 2X Platinum: both Lloyd Banks' and Young Buck's albums have sold just over a million units each, and they've both been out for almost a year now. I doubt the article Ander posted is true; if it is, I can see Dr. Dre sticking with The Game. I mean, Game is his protege and he's also from Compton. Dr. Dre didn't have almost anything to do with 'The Massacre' besides making the beat for 'Candy Shop'. (I think)
Candy Shop was produced by Scott "I Should Use A Real Orchestra Cause My Keyboard Strings Suck" Storch, a former beatmaker guy for Dr. Dre. Dr. Dre produced 'Gunz Come Out' and 'Outta Control'.

[/b][/quote] Oops, I didn't know that. I will definitely check out 'Gunz Come Out' and 'Outta Control'. I'm not sure about this, but I think that it was Jimmy Iovine initially came up with the idea that The Game should be a part of G-Unit.
