Disturbed have chosen John Moyer formerly of The Union Underground to be their new bassist. A press release regarding the addition to the band can be found at Disturbed's official web site.
yea, i agree. although, with disturbed going in for recording later this year, it will be interesting to see what kind of input he has. He may bring a whole new sound to the band.

that's true too... well as long as it's a good sound he can stay
exactly, the band did choose him though, so he cant be that bad...can he? I havent really heared alot by the union underground, so i dont really know his style.
Same sound as on The Sickness. I didn't like Believe at all.
yeah i liked Sickness better than Believe but both are great albums

Please tell me you're joking. While he may be in a popular band, his bass lines are extremely simple. If you'd give people the his name (Steve Kmak; or even the nickame -- "Fuzz") they wouldn't be able to match it with Disturbed. I'm sorry, but he is not one of the most popular or distinguishable. Back on topic... The Union Underground rocked. I, personally, loved 'em. Too bad they're not together anymore (broke up this year, if I remember correctly).
Well, a lot of people like him and his basslines, whether they're simple or not. I consider him popular, at least. Anyway, welcome Anthony. Enjoy your stay. And I hope your name is Anthony, otherwise I feel like an ass.
LOL, that it is! BTW, love your signature... Breaking Benjamin are one of my favorite bands "We Are Not Alone" should be big... I hope, at least.
Nice! I actually remembered something. It seems like every forum I go to for a band, you're signed up. That's how I know you. Just be sure to read the rules and all that fun stuff.
I've seen you around, too... I saw you at 30 Seconds to Mars's forums, I believe... a few others, too, but I can't remember off the top of my head Gotcha... rules. Going to see now.

Actually Fuzz was a good bassist. His basslines weren't extremely hard, I will admit the hardest part of playing his stuff is mostly speed ... but he wasn't bad at all, and I'm pretty sure if you said "Fuzz" a lot of people would know who he was, now with "Steve Kmak"? I didn't know his name, so your correct there. But I heavily disagree with "extremely simple" because they aren't all extremely simple ... he is about the same as Fieldy without all the slapping, and Korn tunes way down (like a-d-b#-g-e#) , and Disturbed play drop d (d-a-d-g-B ) ... ok now I'm getting into tuning which has nothing to do with disturbed. Anyways, he's better than a lot out there, and he could easily be grouped with the likes of Ru-D/RhyKnow (MuDvAyNe) or Fieldy (KoRn) No matter what Rhyknow will be my favorite though ... ANYWAYS: Hopefully this new guy is good, and he adds something to disturbed.</span>
