Well, Good Charlotte's new album, The Chronicles of Life and Death, has leaked onto the Internet. I managed to download myself a copy... and, I must say that I'm surprised. The album is spectacular and I'm only a few songs into it. If you liked their serious side from The Young and the Hopeless, then you'll love this album. It's simply amazing.
Walk Away I just wanna live The World Is Black The Truth We Believe ^Best tracks oh and the Intro "Once upon A time". But yes. the album rocks
I am trying so hard to resist downloading it because I want to be "surprised" when it comes out next Tuesday. I already gave in to downloading "The Truth", "Predictable" and "The Chronicles of Life and Death" and I have live versions of "Walk Away (Maybe)" and "Mountain". What I have heard makes me so happy to hear new stuff from these guys. It's great!
I only decided to litsen to clips, instead of the whole songs and I must say I can't wait for this album, from what I've heard it sounds amazing.
I'm the same with every CD i own. I don't download albums, i'd much rather wait and hold it in my hands and then listen. Don't do it! :chemist:
Amazing CD and I didn't like Good Charlotte at all during Young and the Hopeless. But this CD f*cking blew me away, its awesome. I Just Wanna Live makes me wanna f*ckin get down or something
I never thought i'd see the day when you would be praising GC's work
I know me either They've changed a lot though. Coming from me, when I hated GC to the core before this, thats gotta say something
The thing is though... People are all like "Good Charlotte suck!" and other things that are a lot less 'polite' to say the least... Then, this album leaks and everyone suddenly loves them... It's weird the way stuff like that happens... Let's see if it works for GG...
I'm thinking of giving this album a chance. The only thing I didnt like about "Predictable" is that it seemed to have no thread tying it together. The song jumped around a lot, and it had its good parts but I hated the fact that it seemed to lack any sort of structure. I hated Metallica's pathetic "St. Anger" for that same reason, and to be honest I'm glad the whole album is better than their first single by fan reports. I'll probably have my friend send it because the prices of CD's are pathetic. I mean I saw a 5 year old CD going for 15 dollars at some stores. Just sickening.
Most of the album is a lot better than Predictable.
I might check it out then. But I hated Predictable, so I shall proceed with caution. My favorite GC songs, overall, are probably Bloody Valentine abd Motivation Proclaimation.
