Ok, I'm doing a music assignment on The Catalyst (Yay) and its turning out harder than I anticipated...
I've got to structure The Catalyst and note down how many bars are in each. I've got the structure down, I just can't get the bars (I suck at all things music). Here is the Structure so far:

    Intro

    Verse 1

    Bridge

    Verse 2

    Synth Solo

    Verse 2(?)

    Chorus

    Outro

Any improvements will be appreciated :D. So, anyone good at counting bars?

Ok, with a bit of work I got the bars done but the structure doesn't look right...

    How I see it is...

    Verse 1
    Verse 1
    Pre-Chorus
    Chorus
    Verse 2
    Verse 2
    Pre-Chorus
    Chorus
    Bridge
    Chorus
    Bridge
    Verse 1 (Fading in)
    Verse 1
    Verse 1

Eh, I don't think there are pre-choruses ... and the second "bridge" section you mention, I consider that to be an outro with bits from the verses. :)

Ok. Then there are 2 choruses (chori) and then a shortened chorus before the synth solo/bridge. Then there's another bridge with Mike, followed by the verses. You can call it an outro and just simplify it.

In terms of how each part fits with the song, here's how I see the song structure:

    Verse 1
    Chorus A1
    Synth Solo
    Verse 2
    Chorus A2
Turntable Solo (yes, this is a turntable solo. NOT a synth solo. Sorry to get your hopes up, guys)
    Half Chorus A3
    Bridge
Chorus B (In this section of the song, what was formerly the Verse plays the role of the Chorus)
