This is a spin on your typical song recommendation thread. I want you to choose a favourite song from your catalog that you think is obscure/not well known (note: does NOT have to be indie or anything stereotypically loved by hipsters), and recommend it to people using the following template: "I love this song/Check out this song/[other introductory phrase]" "You've probably never heard it before." Disclaimer: Yes, I realize the irony of hipsters recommending things to other people. This is all tongue-in-cheek.
Not really hipster music but I actually really love this song and want people to hear it: You've probably never heard it. : P
Just want to clarify that the song you're recommending doesn't have to follow under the whole indie-ish "hipster music" theme, just has to be something you don't think many people have heard before. You're being a hipster snob about any music. Example: I stumbled upon this band about 7 years ago. Check out this song. You've probably never heard it before.
After being a follower of WheezyWaiter for quite awhile on YouTube, I found out he had a band. You've probably never heard it before.
Wasted youth, you've probably haven't heard them.
I don't know why, but this song really reminds me Valentine's Day, Shadow of the Day and In Pieces. You've probably never heard it before.
This is a band that used to tour with Finger Eleven back in the day. Scott Anderson (lead vocalist of F11) actually performed on a song from their album called Long Way Home, which I couldn't even find on YouTube. So this is some serious underground shit. Therefore, you've probably never heard them before.
Common Market is a underground hip hop group out of Seattle, WA. Which you probably didn't know has a pretty damn prolific and amazing hip hop scene at the moment. The DJ/Producer is Sabzi from Blue Scholars another incredible underground Seattle hip hop group. RA Scion, the MC, went on to do a solo project called Victor Shade. Common Market has been on hiatus since 2009 and it looks unlikely that they will ever make more music. This is my favorite song of theirs. Maxxxwell Carlisle is a guitarist, and a body builder .. He has two albums out (the 1st one with a guest vocalist and the 2nd one purely instrumental) and two EPs coming soon, I think he's great and I really like his playing, he's developed a lot of speed so his solos are really fast, he even called his 2nd album Speed Force, and this is one of my favorite tracks off it. I don't think many people know of him yet. Here's another song, a more mellow one, the last from the Speed Force Album

Dananananaykroyd. Nuff said. Unless you play FIFA, you'd probably never heard of them.
I don't know much about this group (or singer, whatever it is), but I love this song. The most depressing dance song you'll ever hear: You've probably never heard it before.
I love how Mark posted two bands I saw at the same concert. Idle Sons opened the show, followed by Edgewater, and Finger Eleven headlined. It was a sick, sick show.
Not sure if it's my favorite song by them but it's the first one I heard. Think they're from Finland, you probably haven't heard of them.
Hoodie Allen - I Am Not A Robot Hoodie Allen - The Chase Is On Hoodie Allen - No Interruption Chiddy Bang - Truth Chiddy Bang - Handclaps & Guitars XV - Foreign Exchange Student XV - Awesome Wale - Drums N Shit Sam Adams - Summertime Mac Miller - Don't Mind If I Do Big K.R.I.T. - [All of his stuff is dope] YONAS - The Transition Intuition - Duke Westlake Cypher I'm at work, so I don't have access to Youtube. Sorry All of these songs are fuckin dope, but you probably never heard them before.
I'm not sure if you understand the point. It's not to recommend "hipster" music, it's to act like a hipster when recommending music. Anyways, LPChris didn't follow the guidelines.
This is a song from Passion Pit's new album which comes out next week. It's fucking badass. But you guys probably haven't heard of it.
