The Ataris

I had never heard anything by The Ataris before the first episode of Pepsi Smash a few weeks ago. Once I heard them live, I had to get their album, and I bought it the next day when I got my ear pierced. They're so much better live, it's unbelievable.

Check them out, get "In This Diary," "The Saddest Song," "The Boys Of Summer" (a cover song), and "Summer '79." I think those are their best songs, but the whole album, so long, astoria, is outstanding.

 

I've heard of The Ataris a couple of months ago and when I heard their single "In This Dairy", I knew I had to pick their album up.

I went to Best Buy today and was going to buy their album but I realized I was a few bucks short. :argh: I was mad. Anyway, I have heard 5 songs off of it and I definitely want to get this album.

Edit: Their cover of "Boys of Summer" rocks! They did an awesome job on it.

 

My friends like them. I haven't really heard their songs or maybe I have but I don't know it.

 

I heard In This Diary a while ago. Its a awesome song. I think I will have to check them others out because im bored.

They are? Well, I didn't mean bubblegum-pop, it just kinda sounded a little bit like pop. But I guess if it's punk rock, I'll take your word for it. I guess I'll just ask my friend if I can burn it.

The Ataris are awesome..they did a really good job on that cover "Boys of Summer"..the video for that song is cool...and some of there old stuff on there other two CDs are good...

yeah they dont sound "pop" eaither.

 

I got Boys Of Summer and The Saddest Song. They are very awesome.

Well seeing as how I'm not really into punk rock I wouldn't know.

Note that I said they're the heaviest that I'VE heard.

 

They sound pretty good. I just recently started getting into a little punk, not as much as I am into rock.

 

Original Boys of Summer was better.
