That Summer Love Poetry, falls in colors (Like an autumn rain) In blocks that all differ from one another Like the curves upon your lips Their epic when we kiss And don't you say a thing (And silence rings in my heart) I see the hang racks are so clean But you don't need that fabled style Poetry, like the way you're staring at me now There doesn't have to be any words I'd still hear them, even if death fell on me And deaf ears from which vibrations do not ring You're an epic master piece But who had written you? A higher power?, surely not (Too perfect for a creator) The beauty that glows would had rot So with the green eyes that encase me now To you my love, I worship and I bow Greater than a deity you are to me There doesn't have to be any words I'd still hear them even if death fell on me And deaf ears would be like eyes I'd see you twice, in different ways Twice as real but seeming all a dream The moon sits still in a auburn marine sky I'd sit and watch it with you forever, 'til I die And even after my body's decomposed My love would grow as if any bud or petal Of an eternal rose (the color of an auburn sky rising) But who had written you? A higher power?, surely not The beauty that glows would had rot So with the green eyes that encase me now To you my love, I worship and I bow Greater than a deity you are to me (ohhhhhh) You have not a writer (ohhhhhh) Too perfect to be a higher power (ohhhhhh) A sunflower in your eyes (ohhhhhh) You were here, before even time (ohhhhhh) I loved you before we met (ohhhhhh) A summer piece of poetry (ohhhhhh) Greater than a deity you are to me (ohhhhh no) Until the next girl comes a long (ohhhhhh) And I sing this very song (ohhhhhh no) A surprise ending.. -- Comment please?
Thank you Arlene, I'm glad that someone liked it. But everything in parenthathese were a last minute thing except the "ohhhhhs" And the last two lines were also last minute. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
