i agree with link and ryan. this is probably one of the stupidest thing i have ever heard. the whole situation is hypocritical and moronic. the teacher could have easily used the standard way of punishing the student, rather than causing the child humiliation, which is of course, exactly what they do not want. it just further proves how adults use their power to belittle children. one thing i hate the most is authority abusing their control.

besides, if i was in that position, i would be pissed as fuck. whenever im pushed around and told what to do, i do the complete opposite. whats there to say this kid doesnt think the same way?

Yeah, I SERIOUISLY doubt the kid is going, "So this is what it feels like to be bullied. I better not be doing it again." The kid is more likely to be more humilated and angry and resentful, not regretful.

Two wrongs don't make a right, in my opnion these kids are going to get angered further and their bullying habits may even become worse. It's a bit of an extreme way of dealing with bullying, although some people never learn and they have to be taught the hard way. There's got to be a more productive way of dealing with such kids. I'm totally against the whole "eye for an eye" rationale because an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. I'm going off topic here but along the same lines and for the same reasons I strongly oppose the death penalty.

Yeah, that's a great approach, and I'm sure the little bastards deserved that. But it's in violation of someone's human rights. You can't bully a bully into stopping. It's teaching them nothing. Once they take that helmet off, they're going to lay the beat-down on every kid who laughed at them. Around and around we go.

good on the teachers, i guess thats a better way to solve bullying than a slap on the wrist and being told not to do it again, because it actualy makes them feel stupid for doing it
