ThePRP.com is reporting that the album will be released on April 17th.

Haha the new NIN album in less than 3 months? Badass.

It'll probably come out even before LP's. Haha

 

I hope so, I can laugh a little more knowing that NIN has been around since 1989 and rarely put out albums.

 

i can't wait for the album to leak.
i'm not as big of a nin fan as i was this time last year, and certainly not this time two years ago, but from what Mr. Reznor is saying about this record, its make me excited.

 

thats real sad when nin will have put out two albums between linkin park's second and third album.

Trent is a genius, really. I don't think he could disappoint me. The new album sounds amazing.

 

i'm not understanding where all the comparisons between nine inch nails and that park band are coming from.

 

i cant wait for this album. ive been going through a nin phase lately so this is great. i really did love with teeth.

 

Not really comparisons...I was just talking about their dates being similar.

 

The Fragile remains one of my favorite albums of all time... the idea of another concept album makes me SO happy.

 

The Fragile was amazing. Both the album, and the title track.
Cannot wait for Reznors new stuff, that man is amazing, not to mention unique.

well, one because reznor would never do a downward spiral 2, and 2....because fragile was more heavy with effects, not guitar.

A new update in the NIN realm... I decided to post this here and just make this the official 'Year Zero' thread rather than go through the trouble of making a new one...

The teaser site for the new album.

From what we can see, looks to be at LEAST 16 tracks (possibly more!).

The titles have been hidden with blank squares, which could possibly indicate the spacing of the titles or could just be random.

We also have another confirmed song title, track 2 - the beginning of the end.

I'm hyped.

EDIT: Also, a bunch of 'in-the-making' pictures hidden as image maps at the bottom of the 'tracklisting.'

Survivalism looks be track 1 or 3, and if it hasn't been announced previously, according to FMQB:

"April 17 may be just another Tuesday to most people, but for Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails, it is the first day of Year Zero. The band has confirmed it as the release date for the follow-up to With Teeth and launched the Web site yearzero.nin.com. It appears the site will gradually reveal the tracklisting, with only one title unveiled so far: "The Beginning Of The End." There are also links to pictures of Reznor working in the studio. Last week, Blabbermouth reported that NIN would be filming a video for the new song "Survivalism" outside Los Angeles this week."

Therefore, I am pumped for NIN, Chevelle, and Tom Morello in April.

 

That site looks great, now we know it definetily won't be a 4-6 track EP kind of concept album.

 

Hmm another title released today.. "God Given." interesting. I wonder if there will be a new one every day.

 

Oh great, NIN is doing album information like Linkin Park. This isn't good.
