I am looking to buy a new one, and while I have found a few that I like, and one that I really think would work for me, I want to hear what your recommendations are.

I just want something that is good for video playback, don't really do any gaming, and I want something with a webcam built in.

I want to spend around 700.

This is the one that I like the most so far in my research:

damn, its too bad that the laptop i recently purchased didnt have a webcam built in or i would suggest it to you. but if you are still interested, i bought a 15.6" Compaq Presario for about 500 dollars at Walmart.com and it works like a charm

HP entertainment laptops are usually a great deal. They have large screens, blu-ray drives, decent processors, etc.

Reply if you need more specific advice.

I would suggest an Ibm Lenovo Thinkpad. With these, you can customize battery, harddrive, etc. With other computers that you just buy off the shelf, you can't make it how you want it. And they're very reliable!
