OK I did, but I still have to sign in with my apple ID to listen to it, and when I do (since my ID is from Croatia) I'm automatically back at the Croatian store. If I go back to USA, it signs me out...
Not at all, man. The massive drums and guitars will make you forget as they're punching you in the face.
I hate clean versions of any songs. It always ruins the flow for me. However, only the first two songs are explicit so it shouldn't be too bad. I'm just a bit stubborn.
Love this album! HT will always be my favorite, because that was what introduced me to LP, but THP and ATS are a draw for 2nd for me. After my first listen "ALITS" is my favorite song. The only thing I don't get about this album is why Tom Morello was needed for "Drawbar". They get him to work on the album and that's all he does? Kind of a wasted opportunity, but that's my only complaint.
I'm blown away completely by this record. I'm at the "breathing point" a.k.a. Until It's Gone, so not quite done listening but had to come in and say my heart has been pounding since the opening. So f'ing good.
I broke down and listened to KTTK and AFN. I haven't heard Summoning/War, MTG/Drawbar, FM, or ALITS yet, but this album sounds like it's going to be so fucking awesome. I have gotten so tired of the focus on catchy, adult alt radio songs like the majority found on MTM and the others. This is exactly what I wanted. Don't get me wrong, ATS was awesome and LT was alright but this is what I've been craving since Meteora. Brad's solo in KTTK was so well executed within the song! And it was all over the place! Definitely not playing it safe. It's been a long time since I felt this way about a LP release. I can't thank the band enough. Brings the fanboy back in me that's been missing since the early 2000s. From what I've heard, this will stand with HT easily.
Well, I may as well go ahead and complete my preorder. And to everyone stuck at work. Sucks to be you, I'm off today.
If you like the heavy side of Linkin Park then you'll like this album. Drawbar and Final Masquerade are pretty much the only breaks you'll get from the the heaviness. And even though ATS is my fave album by LP, I've been waiting for this type of 'balls to the wall' album by them since Meteora. I always thought their live shows needed more energy and these songs will definitely provide.
