How do you people like Staind? My favorite album is Break The Cycle. I love that CD! I also like a few songs on 14 shades of grey.

Staind is one of the best bands that I have ever heard. However, I feel like they are selling out. Either that, or their label is really controlling with what they're making Staind put out. I mean, since "Price To Play," all the songs have been the slower, more pop-driven songs. It's annoying.

Durst ruined them, that's all I can say really.

They were better on Tormented & Dysfuctional.

But Staind have always had slow songs. What do u not like about the new songs? That some of them are about Aaron's personal life?

Um... I never said I don't like them.

They're doing what LP is unfortunately doing, and that's putting out the "radio friendly" songs. I'm tired of these heavy bands putting out slow, poppy ####.

And by "poppy" i mean #### that appeals to the "top 40" audience.

I agree...all of the the other songs are so "woe is me" and it gets quite tiring because hearing the same thing over and over agin gets annoying.....

I enjoyed them for a while, but their music got boring pretty fast.

I really like Staind. They're a very talented band. I think they could do a lot more with their talent, and I hope that with time they will improve even more.

I love Staind, but I agree with everyone else by saying their record company is releasing the poppy songs as singles. There were so many songs on Break the Cycle and 14 Shades such as Open Your Eyes, Suffer, Can't Believe, Waste, Intro, Fray and Falling Down that are so much better.

    Break the cycle was amazing.
    14 shades of grey sucked

And i don't think it's their slow songs that have caused this. Fade is slow, It's been awhile is slow, but they are awesome.
And yes, i believe LP are releasing soft singles, but the album is much better than that, unlike 14SOG.

I love Staind, "Break The Cycle" is an awesome album all-together and from what I heard on "Dysfunction" is awesome. "14 Shades Of Grey" has some pretty good songs, and songs like "Fray" should have/should be future singles. I think it was a big mistake to make "How About You" a single. Overall, I think "14 Shades Of Grey" is a little to soft.

Dysfunction was my favorite album, I didn't like Break the Cycle much and haven't bothered to listen to much of 13 Shades of Grey, but I didn't like Open Your Eyes.

"14 Shades of Grey" was my most regrettable cd purchase of 2003. I should've listened to it beforehand.

I only own the Dysfunction album since I couldn't get enough of Mudshovel. That song helped me so much for some reason back in grade 10. I saw them live on the Family Values 2001 tour and they were pretty good. Their newer stuff is okay though, but I wouldn't buy those albums though. For You was an awesome song though. Too bad they never really aired that video much.
