How much will the album cost?
Will it be like.. $20 since it's a double-record?

 

Could be on sale for 15 though...for like the first couple weeks.

Then I'll probably get it.
I've been getting into Red Hot Chili Peppers more lately.
and that Dani California song is rather catchy, although I don't think it's all that great.

 

I've just listened to the first CD and I think it's great.

 

I dont like a lot of the songs on the CD, they just seem too soft. I'm more into the old RHCP like Give It Away and shit. Most of this CD isn't too good in my honest opinion.

 

I haven't heard it, but I do like the newer, more melodic I guess stuff. I'll listen to this CD and if it's more like that, then I'll pick it up.

 

Damn... I have just barely started listening to this on vh1.com. I like this. I gotta say I am impressed with the first 7 tracks

So far Im really enjoying the album, its gotta sweet vibe to it. Rick Rubin is a solid producer. Cant wait to see what he can get outta LP.

 

Rick Rubin is a pimp and he needs to run for president. he can do no wrong when it comes to making albums

he put Run DMC, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine and tons of other bands on the map or back on the map. I guarantee LP will have a #1 album when it comes out

 

Well, the band themselves took it into this direction. Anthony Kiedis said he does not want to rap anymore, and wants to sing a lot more.

But of course that is just your opinion. I for one love RHCP wherever they go, because whatever they do, it is so DAMN well done.

 

This album is well done.

 

Yeah, I know but I miss the old RHCP

It's not bad but I just dont think it's as good as the old stuff. I didnt like it much at all at first.

I've already committed myself to waiting until it is officially released, but damn.

 

Meh, they are only getting like what...$2 a profit sold from the album. If you want to download it, fine by me...just buy the damn record.

Of course, I barely do that

 

I don't care what he says. I'll download whatever I want from RCHP I'm paying $40-$50 to see them live in August and I'm going to buy some tour merch so I'm more than doing my part to support them.

 

It's not that you download it, it's that we only have crappy rips. That's what Flea is mad about, shitty quality rips of their work.
