The best CD I heard since 2005 summer is Metallica,St.Anger.It had a very good drums(Lars is amazing) and (the top-of-the-top guitar player ever)James is simply the best.
I've heard some people say it's their worst album ever. But I guess you're entitled to your own opinion.
What? It came out in 2003. Not to mention, I agree to the extent that it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. But Lamb Of God's As The Palaces Burn, which came out the same year is much better. And Ashes Of The Wake is much much better.
and Trivium's Ascendancy is much much much better.
Trivium have basicly given themselves the title 'The future of metal' with Ascendancy St.Anger was Metallica's worst album yet and also one of the worst albums I've ever listened to.What kind of shitty chorus is ''Frantic tick tick tock'',their next album better be like Reload or The black album cos Metallica lost alot respect with St Anger.

I can't see why everyone got so pissed off with the album and says it's shit, only because it was a little different, doesn't make it suck in my opinion. It may not have been up there with some of their past albums, but I' sure one not so great album out of about 9 albums isn't bad.

I also realized something. What the hell does the Phoenix smilie have to do with Metallica?
That's Rob, . Yeah, Like it fucking matters.
That's Rob, . Yeah, Like it fucking matters.
Fine. Another oddity. Since when did James become a better guitarist than Kirk?
My mum says that they went stupid or something and cut their long locks off and turned into another sort of symphony. I have heard some of their other albums and I only liked the song Enter Sandman, St. Anger (the album) in my opinion is better than their other ones. Didn't they make the filmclip to St. Anger in San Quentin?? That's like a really bad prison isn't it?
Speak for yourselves, but Metallica should have quit while they were ahead...15 years ago I mean the Black album was alright, and 90's Metallica was not bad either but what made them legendary and groundbreaking to me was their sound from the 80s....Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, And Justice For All..... But if you like St. Anger then kudos.
Since he stopped soloing. I liked St. Anger. It wasn't bad. Lyrically it was "eh". What really makes the fans think it's bad is when you compare. I compared tabs and St. Anger is by far the easiest shit you can play by Metallica. Then even pull out Brad-straight-up-and-down chords. That's pathetically easy. And the sound quality. Making it sound "garage-y" was a bad idea. I think they need to stop trying to re-invent their own wheel and just solo and play fast.
st anger is the badest cd of metallica ever.I can't believe that metallica had made this CD!!! Anyone who like this CD isn't a real metal fan.
if you want proof that St.Anger is bad...you know you're in dangerous waters as a metal band, when Avril Lavigne covers one of your songs...
