I know most of the people here are rock fans, but I know there are some Hip-Hop fans here so I thought I'd post some info on who I think is the best new Hip-Hop artist I've heard in a while. His name is Spec Boogie, a true Hip-Hop artist from Brooklyn. I got his CD for free when I ordered clothes from DigitalGravel.com. When I first heard his album I was expecting the regular hip-hop clone, but his lyrics were not the "B*tch, Money, Cars, Hoes" that you hear on the radio and on MTV. His lyrics actually attacked the popular "Hip-Hop" that we all hear. The beats that he uses are fused with rock and are not the dull and lame beats that are copied over and over again. His style is not focused on one particular sound. His songs are creative. One song that really caught my ear was "7 Nation Army Of Millions", just a great song. It makes me wonder how the music industry is still surviving with these below average artists that are signed....
