I think for Linkin Park to keep us interested they will have to do something different on the new record instead of the predictable song structure they have used over the 2 albums. Do you think some solos would add life to the songs, whether it be guitar, drums, bass or turntables?
well we know mike is writting a solo album now. i'd guess the probablity of chester doing his own thing is quite high now as well. so once the band has gone through the whole process of their own albums - they will have picked up valuable information and will make a great new LP album!
I do prefer it when it's just chester singing, such as BTH, and don't stay (well almost). I'd like to see more of that in the new album, and less songs like nobody's listening :wth:. I'm not tired of LP's style yet, so if it sounds very similar to HT or meteora, I wouldn't be dissapointed.
I would be disapointed , I wanna hear song where both mike and chester to a couplet , or a solo rap or singing at the ending , Just like and one
I love everything they've done so far. I wouldn't mind the new album sounding similar to the old stuff. I'm sure if they do change it up, it'll still be very interesting and unique. I like the ideas they come up with for their songs because they're so different than anything else done by other artists.
Linkin Park need to lose the formula. They should be alittle risky, and maybe even loose structure. Maybe have some more songs like And One where there isn't really any structure.
