It depends. If you had a PSP that was not upgraded past the 1.50 firmware upgrade, then you can download emulators and other programs called Homebrew. I, unfortunately, upgraded my PSP stupidly, so now I have to wait for those lovely hackers to make a downgrade program.

Because there's no way of opening game roms on a DS. Most of the GBA games released by Nintendo tend to be SNES/NES ports anyway.

Damn right I am. I'm probably one of the first people to have downgraded. By the way, DO NOT get the 2.01 or 2.05 firmware update. You won't be able to downgrade then. Unless you'd rather not have homebrew and have cooler than shit programs on your PSP.

Be careful, if you buy a brand new one it may already be upgraded past 2.0, and you may not be able to downgrade.

There isnt.....yet. Give it a few months and the hackers will be able to break 2.01 and 2.05.

ok then...i thought you were talking about just plain old 2.0, not 2.0.1. or whatever.

I'm not getting a PSP probably until Xmas or early next year anyways.

to my knowledge there was a time when you could play SNES roms on the PSP, but since the latest update no one has been able to.

Did you even read the thread? There is a downgrader now unless you upgraded past 2.0.0.

Cool, can you maybe also play PS1 games on PSP, if they can hack?
