There is a Buddha. Well, he always existed, there's no question, so I guess it's a moot point. ... Oh yeah, sweet/awesome/heaven-like news.
Jimmy Chamberlin would come back most likely. Billy & Jimmy worked together on Zwan (I rather see a 2nd Zwan record) and on each other's solo stuff. Auf Der Mar is doing what she wants to, which is solo stuff. I heard D'Arcy was in the antiques trade now, and James isn't speaking to Billy at all. So...yeah. It would kinda be like GnR or something.
I was about to say, there's no way James Iha would even talk to Billy after he's said so much crap about how James made the band break-up. Billy's been talking smack about all the former Smashing Pumpkins members for the past month or so, too.

On his online diary thingy, he said he was sorry for all the things he said about James, and that he still loves him as in a brother way. That was 2 months ago or so though.
If he loved him so much, he wouldn't say such petty things. I think Billy Corgan is a brilliant musician, but he sure can be an a-hole. I think his post on his online diary was nothing more than an attention-getting scheme. I wasn't a big fan of Zwan, either. They had a few decent songs. Smashing Pumpkins are classic.
Man, no one likes Zwan except for me. That record was awesome, in my opinion. It was just a bunch of feel good rock songs. I mean, you can't slit your wrist to Zwan!
And you can't slit your wrists to William Hung, but I don't like him either Nah, I get what you're saying though... but Smashing Pumpkins are extremely similar. Mostly feel-good rock songs.
I saw Auf Der Maur live. They opened for HIM along with Monster Magnet. It was an altogether awful show. Auf Der Maur and HIM were mediocre. Monster Magnet was terrible. Slightly more on topic, I'd also rather see a Zwan album.
And you can't slit your wrists to William Hung, but I don't like him either
But I'm sure that after listening to his album 87983472398 times, you'd probably want to.

Sounds like a replacement band to me: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermo...ewsitemID=38409 There's no way he's getting everyone back if he hasn't talked to them about it. Good luck, Billy.
