Out of all the bands you with singles getting alot/too much radio play, which of them did/do you wish would be banned from radio/MTV etc for a year? They can be from anytime, not just right now, and try to give a reason why you wish it would go away. Here's my list Evanescence - Bring Me To Life .........- I just like the bliss mix better. Without Paul McCoy no unjust comparison can then be made to that 'other' shifty band  I wish i had more, I'll think of some tonight and repost if I get a chance.
The new AFI single, I think it's Silver and Cold. The radio plays it ALL THE FREAKIN TIME!!!!! Was good the first time, but when you hear it constantly, you cant stand to hear it. Sunday I had a 5 and a half hour shift at work and we had the same radio station on the entire time. I heard the song twice within 5.5 hours, BUT, there was about 20 minutes when I was on break and nowhere near the radio, and about another half hour when I wasn't near the radio, so who knows how many times they played it.
I don't like In Da Club by 50 Cent. But trust me, his other songs on Get Rich or Die Tryin are the best.
All of the male RnB so called rappers. and all of the moaning ###ches they think they are sexy by crawling around on the floor. Note Beyonce. D4.
Staind - 'How About You'; this is already their 3rd single from '14 Shades Of Grey' and there is way better songs then this, such as 'Fray' (which would get tons of sales in my opinion) and 'Could It Be'
Add Jet and the White Stripes to that list too, I can't stand their stuff. Not even rock music for ####s sake, I don't know why the station that calls themselves "St. Louis's new rock alternative" plays those songs every hour
I really hate "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" SO MUCH...and umm...yeah the "Milkshake" song...good beat, annoying voice/lyrics.
50 Cent - In Da Club Holy crap! Muchmusic played this so many times that I was tempted to injure myself. Joe Budden - Pump It Up My brother blared this for 3 months straight on his huge boombox. I can't stand it anymore. Jet - Are You Gonna Be My Girl Same reasons as everyone. It's like elevator music! White Stripes - Seven Nation Army. Booooring. The video is also repetitive and seizure-inducing. Another overplayed song by Muchmusic. Puddle of Mudd - She Hates Me Radio overplayed this too. It was a bad choice for a single too. Eminem - Lose Yourself Overplayed everywhere. Good song, ruined by radio/tv. Good Charlotte Their stuff is so incredibly overplayed on Muchmusic that it makes it worse than ever.
Evanescence- Bring Me To Life Trapt- Headstrong Staind- So Far Away Jet- Are You Gonna Be My Girl? Linkin Park- Numb
Anything by Sean Paul, 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake, White Stripes or Limp Bizkit. In particular: Blu Cantrell ft Sean Paul: Breathe- crap rap vocals and a cheap ex-porn star who can't sing. The video is so fake and it's friggin' obvious her face's been airbrushed. Sean Paul: Get Busy - that guy's voice makes me want to murder someone. Justin Timberlake: Cry Me A River - If I want to hear a girl sing, I'll go listen to Britney or something. Sugababe: Hole in the Head Crappy brit pop trying to look cool by having guitarists and a drummer in their video. White Stripes: Hardest Button To Button - boring, repetitive, plain annoying. Limp Bizkit: Behind Blue Eyes, Eat You Alive, Rollin' - or just any of their s###ty songs. I don't like them. Plain and simple. These are the worst songs/videos on MTV. I don't hate them because they're overplayed but because they're simply god-awful.
it's an awesome single and gave LP tons of sales, why would you not want it to be a single? [/b][/quote] It's just overplayed way too much. At Will- Honestly, I don't listen to the radio ever. I find music through the Internet and friends and such. But sometimes the radio is on (IE Parent's Car, School Bus) and it's always the same songs over and over again.
