Shanghai Tune: China Tour Date Announced

According to Piao, Linkin Park are set to take the stage April 14th, 2007, at the Shijingshan Stadium in Shanghai, China. While the date has not been confirmed, many bands, including Linkin Park, have been known to venture overseas for weeks in prepping for a subsequent homeland tour, aka: the United States.

If this assumption is correct, the band is likely to release the album shortly after they return to the States, as they did with Meteora in 2003.

The album will probably be released in early May with Projekt Revolution 2007 in the summer.

Dude, were already in December. If it were coming out in Febuary we would of already have a single and/or an album title/tracklist.

 

But, wouldnt it make more sense for them to release the album before that, so they could play their new songs live for the first time?

 

Damn, this kinda screws with Blender saying that the album will drop in February. Still, if they keep adding more tour dates for prior to the albums release, we should be able to get some bootlegs of new stuff before the album.

 

Do you remember before Meteora was released? They played like 4 new songs in Europe before Meteora actually came out.

 

China... that'd be funny if they shared the stage with like, Jay Chou or something...

man, another few months wait. it's going to seem like eternity... all over again we'll make it! if they push it back further than that i might have to keel someone though.

 

They keep pp-ing this album and I'm becoming more and more unpatient...But if all the songs are at least as good as QWERTY it means it's worth it.

Heh, he has this strange mix of rap, rock, pop, and chinese folk that sounds amazing.

 

I predict that the new album will be realeased on the 07/05/07 in the uk. no idea about the rest of the world!
