While it's all fine and dandy, I can't help but feel the annoyance comes from his choice of vocabulary.
"Dirt Off Your Shoulder"/"Lying from You" is one of my favorites in the track, simply because it's fun, especially with the cappuccino part. Jay's rap verses fit perfectly well with the Lying from You guitar riff. I'm still disappointed that the breakdown at the end of Dirt Off Your Shoulder didn't show up in some way, though.
Mmm. I would theorise that Shinoda's breakdown at the end of "In Stereo" on "The Rising Tied" was a bit of a shoutout
I'm more excited to do Collision Course so I can be whiny bitch, than I was for the first half of Meteora, which I didn't even bother participating in xD
DOYS/LFY is a good mashup, at least for the parts that are actually mashed together. Jay-Z's lyrics of LFY are great and it makes the parts that go back to just Chester or Mike feel fresher.
I'm in the "Collision Course sucks/ it is a cash-grab/ the songs don't go well with each other/ it shouldn't have been made" team.
Again, I would say that there's zero doubt that it was conceived as a cash-grab by more than half the parties involved. Funnily enough, with so many fingers in the pie or whatever, the actual artists wound up getting very little themselves in terms of revenue.
Well, apparently, what Joseph laid out in the OP is law. Saves me from having to make posts for each song so, whatever
DOYS/LFY is a fun jam as is the rest of this EP. I don't like how the ending is basically Lying From You.
First of all, ugh I just want to get to MTM! Second of all, good job choosing a DBZ AMV. Cause if you're going to link an AMV, you might as well choose DBZ. Lastly (on topic), this is definitely one of the better songs off of the EP. Like Filip said, this is just a fun song to listen to, and that little clip in the beginning proves it.
some extra information for each song would be interesting in my opinion but this is just me. LFY/DOYS is an interesting mash up , not the best but good.
