I was bored, computer was in use, and I hate TV. So, I cranked up my stereo, popped in an old Metallica CD, and took out my old SEGA Genesis. I hooked everything up, put in Sonic Adventures 3, and WHOA! Flashbacks! I was having so much fun I couldn't believe. I'm going to go to the old video game store and buy more old Sega games.
Meh, I love having flashbacks when I was a kid playing old N64 or Nintendo, but I couldn't stand sega. The latest from Sega is Genesis right? I bet Sega could put competion up against Sony, but the old Nintendo company just isn't pulling there weigt. I do enjoy XBOX though, HALO!
I think Sega is the best console out there. It was a more mature, and better made system compared to Nintendo. I broke both my Nintendo, and my Super Nintendo, but Sega...oooohh Sega...he has stood the tests of time. And no, Genesis was the second Sega system. Dreamcast was their latest, and Sega Saturn before it.
I used to play my old Sega Genesis all the time! It was my best friend for the longest time... My brother recently tried to hook it up, but it wouldn't work, so he took it apart He has an X-Box, but I never play that, I never play any video games anymore. I miss the old days where I had nothing to do but play Sonic on the Genesis.
yah sonic 3 was the bizniitch. my genesis still works but i let my cousin's friend borrow my games, havent seen 'em since. :argh:
I loved the sonic games. Sonic 3 & Knuckles was what really did it for me - I could never stop playing it =P Another game I liked was something called columns...yeah I'm sad but I'm into puzzles so nyah. Hail Sega - The graphics are shite but the games were great back in the day
Sega is great, and the best thing about it, is the games will cost you peanuts. Even people who have old games will probably be willing to give them to you. You can also pick up dusty sega games at pawnshops for about 1$ each. Good deal
You could get bundles of Sega games for $1. I remember playing Columns on my Sega GameGear (Sega portable). It was my greatest investment of the time, better than GameBoy. The only downside was that it took 8 batteries to operate and would BURN through them easily.
Word. I still have it and I only remember how much of a pain in the ass it was to have to look for batteries to use. Hence why I invested in the plug so I could always play it at home no matter what.
Well...yeah I got the adapter too, but it was the only GOOD handheld to have when I went to Florida and there was no car adapter.
