This was posted on the house of Jigsaw board awhile ago but knowone commented on it Friends! It has been a LONG WHILE since we last spoke. But - WE'RE BAAAAAACK!!!! That's right in about a week we start shooting SAW III. Please trust me when I tell you - this one is not for the squeamish! Forget all of these horror films that claim to be gory and scary - SAW III is the REAL DEAL - we have a TON of violence, gore, a few surprises and oh yes, TRAPS!!!! I have to tell you all I just got back from the special effects house who will be building all of the body parts and gore for the film. I nearly vomited. Some of the macabre things we have in store for you will make SAW II look like a children’s film! There is so much I want to tell you - but where is the fun in that? I think I will make you wait! In the meantime - stay tuned!

Hah, I cannot wait. Been a fan since the first, and hopefully they give us more this time around. They claimed at one point that "this one is for the fans," so here's to hoping they live up to that claim.
Is it odd that I haven't seen any of these movies? I hear they're amazing, though, and nobody was dissing it in this thread so I guess I need to check them out.
You make such beautiful rhymes. To all my fans following my posts in this thread, I got the first two movies and shall watch them soon! Then I will be all ready for the third, which, judging by the poster, is a very good movie with lots of twists and turns and a meaningful message buried within.
That poster looks sick. Pulling out teeth as a trap is pretty brutal. It'll definetely be +18-rated over here, so I guess I'll have to wait until it's on dvd.
Do they ask for your ID in Belgium? When I was 12, I bought Carmageddon and they didnt ask me anything Ahwell. Im going to watch it for sure. I love Saw
Not when you buy a dvd or a videogame but they do ask how old you are when you try to go watch an 18+ movie. I could go watch it easily, though. I don't really look like I'm 16 because I'm pretty tall but if they ask my ID I'd be screwed. Maybe I'll try it but non of my friends would be able to get in with me...
For me, the blood and gore of Saw wasn't the main thing that attracted me...its that the whole psychological mindfuck of the situation, that made you think "what would I do?" and added to the intensity of the film. Really, the graphicness only enhanced the realism of the film, but too me wasn't the main fixture in the films. So I hope that is not going to be the focus for the third one, at the expense of the excellent directing/screenplay. Although with the producer dying I hope that doesn't effect the quality of the third.
exactly what I was thinking. I do not care for the gore, etc. I absolutely despise "Horror" movies. I hate the "hack 'n' slash" horror movies, where the people SOMEHOW can't get away from this machete wielding psychopath *rollseyes*. I too, enjoy the, and the same word I use, mindfuck, they use to extend the storyline. if I can say, I think the first two films' deaths were "tastefully" done. as far as "oh shit, they got killed because they couldn't figure out the thing that they ruined their life from. I don't want this one to be like some stupid Freddy Krueger/Jason Vorhees/Michael Myers horror film. PLEASE, for the love of god, I hope there is still a lot more mindfuck, lol still looking forward to this movie I'm just glad that JigSaw is "still alive"(yes, i read the synopsis), but when I saw him in the 2nd movie, I became an even bigger fan just because of those smirks and the prescence he gave. it was chillingly evil and just gave off a vibe I don't get from other horror films. wow, i think that turned into a rant.... just a little excited now, lol
lol, i guess now that I look at it again, it does sound very twisted, but ya know what I mean.... maybe? *evil* lol
