I think he should be tried by an International Tribunal Council, not by the Iraqis. As much as I hate to say it, I think Allawi will be dead by the end of the year.
I think the Iraqi trial is fine. I mean, all the #### he did, he did in Iraq. I mean, yeah, his troops killed some soldiers in the Gulf War and this new "war" on them, but the real #### he did was to the Kurds and the people he brainwashed. I think the Kuwaitis should have a say in though, since he invaded their country.
There would be no point to kill him and then castrate him... His wife is actually going to hire lawyers to try to get him out??!!

but some of the iraqis (iraqians?... ) still think that he was a good guy. i say the international tribunal in haague (i cant spell) would be better.

And, some people in the international community still think he was a good guy. I bet more people internationally think so than Iraq (well, obviously). Very few Iraqis think he was a good guy -- most of the terrorists fighting the US right now didn't even like him.
He has a wife?
several. Well. For as messed up as Iraq is i have this feeling that the trial will work out. I dont know, I dont know anything about politics so i'm ignorant
He has a wife?
Like 3 of them, lol. There was a vote in iraq and 41% of the people said that they would re-elect saddam if he ran for president. Why won't the Iraqis take Bush to court for invading Iraq?
Because he got rid of Saddam, the person who had been opressing them for the past few decades. Granted, he stayed in there a lot longer than he should have, but they aren't going to take him to court for getting rid of someone like Saddam. And I know he has a wife, or more than one. I was just kidding.
Kuwait was stealing oil from Iraq and when they had a meeting about it. A Kuwaity official threw coffee at Tarik Azzees. The second day, Bush the father gave permission to Saddam to go in Kuwait.
Proof of this? And, for some reason I highly doubt that even if there was a vote that they got everyone to vote, given everything that's currently going on. Especially considering that the major religious groups do not want him back and each of the religious groups wants their religion to run the government... why do you think it's so hard to get a good government up and running in Iraq?

Add that to the fact that 41% is still less than half. If two people were to run, the other is going to win. I'm too dumb to delve into the numbers if three or more were to run.

CNN Also, My dad was in Iraq 2 weeks ago and he said that the majority of the Iraqis who once hated Saddam wants him back because they prefer him over the occubation. Add that to the fact that 41% is st...eople were to run, the other is going to win. Its still alot considering its Saddam
