It’s very evident that he feels that there’s a lot of pressure on him to make the right decision on the bands future and one that he’s comfortable with. With that being said whatever the decision he comes to Mike has proven he can make some good music
Wow, didn't expect something with that kind of upbeat intensity on this album. With all the videos and the variety in the songs so far, I feel like this album's going to be a pretty unique journey. It's going to be rough around the edges and maybe provide some difficult conversations for a casual listen in some places, but it's looking to be more polished than I expected by the end, and not quite as consistently heavy. I'm looking forward to seeing how a full run of the album feels.
Slightly unpopular opinion: If having songs like this means Linkin Park won't continue, I'm okay with that. Although, I still would like to hear the other guys with Mike, I can't deny that this is a great song. I mean, I obviously would want the band to continue, but things will be immensely different. Could Mike front a 5-piece LP? Possibly, but I doubt highly that we will hear anything like we've heard from Linkin Park in the past. Not without help, and even then, the help would be unfairly compared to Chester constantly. Either way, whatever the future brings, they all have my support.
This album is shaping up to be amazing. This song, much like most of the other tracks, doesn't feel like it was just quickly put together. Everything just sounds so planned out. I am so impressed by MS right now. Also Brad delivered with those guitars at the end.
Well damn. Mike's rhyme scheme was on point here. I was shocked by his delivery and flow on this one. Definitely some of his better verses. Hook was amazing too. The distortion with grandson was weird...not sure how I feel on that yet, but everything else is fantastic.
Really feeling this track. Mike's rhymes, flow, and delivery are sharp and confident. Might be my favorite track so far.
Mike has a history of not putting out the, in my opinion, best songs on an album as singles/promo. With as fucking fire as RFMS and NMSA are, I am REALLY anxious to hear the remaining 9 tracks.
Most recent case being Nobody Can Save Me, and that's definetly an highlight in OML so yeah, the hype is real.
NCSM, Halfway Right, Sorry For Now, Sharp Edges, and obviously One More Light before it was necessary for it to be a single. You're setting the bar pretty low here.
