I've seen many interviews with her where she's trying to hide her face in her hair and looking down and away from the camera. One time, this one interviewer had to lean down and almost cuddle up with her since she was hiding. But she can do whatever she wants though.

Take this interview, for example (long read, but worth it... especially the ending. What a twert.):
I know what Felix is talking about, there's this one interview where she's sitting on a table/chair and all she does is look down at her feet, hide her face behind her hair, and mumble shyly to his questions. She curses like a sailor, though. That interview is pretty crazy though.
Yes, but that interview I posted above is 100% read (search Google for "(Avril Lavigne Chet Healey)")... being such, I simply cannot respect Avril as a person. This was a guy trying to be nice to her -- an independent journalist (do you know how hard they have to work for money?) -- and she went and did that. That is quite possibly the worst story of an interview I've ever read. I don't really care if anyone finds it funny, but to me, that's just unbelievably rude and just plain "I'm a superstar, take that!". If I ever met Avril I'd walk away, that's how rude it is. The guy tries to be nice and she does that... I enjoy a good prank with the rest of them, but that's just not acceptable. I'm sure she does seem shy in interviews, though... it gets her publicity as a 'nice girl'. EDIT: Wasn't really talking about anyone here or their opinions, just giving my thoughts.
I didn't even read it, but you're making way too big a deal about her being shy. Who the hell cares? In fact, you make way too big a deal out of a lot of things. It's pretty annoying and a fair number of staff agree.
Gee whiz. Sorry. It's conversation, what do you want me to do? I'm not slamming your opinions, I'm posting mine. If they're too big of a deal don't read them. What's wrong with that? I simply find Avril to be one of the most rude people I've ever heard about (that's not the only case). Obviously you disagree, judging from your sig. That's fine. More power to you. I'm glad the staff agrees that I'm annoying. I'm not going to kiss their butts, to be quite honest. I'm going to follow the rules and post what I believe pertains to the topics at hand. It's no surprise to me that some of the staff doesn't like me, given that I'm the only one who will actually debate with them.
Yes well we've also noticed that you have to contradict or argue everything we say. And by we I mean everyone on the boards. It is very annoying to have someone blatently argue and complain about everything. Learn to respect us.
No matter what I say to that I lose, obviously. If I say yes you say "SEE!" if I say no you say "SEE!". I'm sorry, but if I don't agree with you I'm not going to pretend like I do. I've agreed with the mods before, especially in musical tastes that we share. If I know a fact is wrong I'm not going to hold it back; sorry if that hurts your feelings. And, exactly what have I complained about? I find the boards here to be great boards, for the most part. Just because I argue you dislike me? No offense, that's life. I argue if I don't agree... tell me what the serious discussion forum is for if you don't argue in it at times? It's politics. And, I'll respect the board's rules.
Youll respect the forum's rules by knowing them. Like one that says "Be respectful to staff and members." And dont you dare laugh at me about something like that.
Youll respect the forum's rules by knowing them. Like one that says "Be respectful to staff and members." [/b][/quote] Being respectful and respecting someone aren't the same, in my opinion. I'll be respectful -- but that doesn't mean everyone will have my respect. That's something you have to earn. And, yes, I knew that rules, thanks. (And, I should note again: that's my opinion. I'm not arguing with you on it, just stating my opinion.)
Listen, I didn't want this to become some big argument. Just chill out a little bit. If you disagree with something, instead of taking over a topic and causing a big discussion about why everyone else is wrong and you're right or you're wrong and everyone else is right, just don't post in the topic. You do it an awful lot and it gets kind of annoying coming into a topic and seeing it all going fine until you decide to post and turn it into one big debate. Sure, forums are for debating and discussing, but not every little thing needs to be discussed, debated or torn apart like you seem to think.
