Hey people! For gods sake, i am so excited! On 1st November i will release my first Album: ROOTS AND SENSES LP It is still a month so for until the release but i wanted to give you MY OWN review of the album, maybe i can bring up some hype about this. Some people of you might have heard many tracks of that album, but there are new tracks aswell so here we go! (Album Cover) Tracklist: 1.) Another Love [Acoustic / Experimental] 2.) Wanna Kill [Remix Contest Winner 2] So that is the tracklist so far! Here is my own review! ANOTHER LOVE This one is actually my first one where i am using acoustic guitars as a main structure. In addition with the drums and electronic plucks is feels like the perfect intro. The track has a melancholic but still nice feeling. At least for me. I chose this as my first track because i wanted to start with something fantasy-like. DARE I started with this track some time ago and just messed around with some new sounds i made. I used the Gorillaz DARE Sample as the Glitch Hop Drop. It starts with some nice pads and then it gets into nice electronic glitch hop sounds. The melody while the glitch hop part is playing is an influence of Gorillaz aswell. VIOLET Violet is a pretty SIMPLE DnB track i made, i admit that. But i like it as it is. The piano has that ability to give you some nice memories of good happenings of your life. Thats what i feel at least. At the end i switched the drum beat to a nice "Hip Hop"-ish beat. It fits in really well i think! WANNA KILL Haha! First Trap i have ever made! And i think it turned out great! Well what can i say about trap, many Members over here told me its like Trap but i added an own style. I don't really know how to describe it, listen yourself! https://soundcloud.com/cypheredm/wanna-kill-original-mix-remix CHASING YOUR DREAMS Chasing your dreams is actually a very old track. I never really released it besides on my HEART RHYTHM EP, but that one didnt even get reconized that much. And i think this track is one of my best Liquid tracks i have ever made, so i put it in once again! So this track is based and influenced on Blackmill and Feints melody stuff. I used Melissa Pixel Vocal Samples for this. The Drop has a very relaxing move and i really like it. The strings and piano works very well over here! ILLUSION The track has a piano intro and turns into a very nice electronical but still emotional / happy track. It has a lot melody and BPM changes! STAY TUNED! UNDEAD Ah... I could freak out. I didn't find any rapper for this. I really wanted to, but i needed to find one with the right voice for this. Fail OKAY nevermind, i chose this anyway because the production was way too complicated to not put it in. This track is clearly influenced by ZOMBOY (my idol of the EDM Scene). Could be reconized as an very very electronical Hip Hop track aswell tho. ARCADE Another Glitch Hop Track! Once again, sampled with Gorillaz. I don't know why but i think their vocal samples fit in perfectly in glitch hop tracks haha! Okay the track title says Arcade, which means i really wanted to produce something "Videogamish". I think it turned out very well. I can't tell you anything more besides its very videogamish haha! AURORA Very old aswell, and appeared on my HEART RHYTHM EP too. The leads and growls fit in very good over here i guess. The piano melody is very melancholic aswell. A very nice String-bridge appears over here. PS: This track was actually a "Raise Your Weapon Remix". But i dropped it, and released it as an original. SHADES Super long intro until the DNB Track starts. Intro starts with a speech, and the DNB Part is very... punchy? I think thats the wrong word. The drums arent that hard but it fits in very well i guess! The VIP's are explained be the title anyway!
